As Program Director of Mass Poetry, Laurin directed and produced Poetry on the T, Student Day of Poetry, Common Threads, the U35 Reading Series, and Educator Professional Development. She also managed the headquarters of the Massachusetts Poetry Festival (directed by January Gill O'Neil), oversaw Mass Poetry interns and volunteers, worked closely with partnering organizations, designed the new masspoetry.org (launched in September 2014) as well as many Poetry on the T posters, managed and designed Common Threads editions 2015 and 2016, and more. As Program Director of the Poetry Society of America, Laurin curated and produced PSA’s robust series of national and local events, managed the Chapbook Fellowship Program, spearheaded Poetry in Motion efforts in San Francisco and elsewhere, and worked to foster partnerships with complementary and like-minded organizations. She was often assisted by the PSA mascot Daisy, when Daisy hadn't worn herself out partying.
